Globalisation and international trade in goods

The bachelor thesis analyses the impact of globalisation on the field of international trade in goods. The first part elucidates theoretical sources and development of international trade in goods during the course of the most striking periods of its progress. The second part considers the term globalisation and its impacts on the area of international trade in goods. The third part is based on the analysis of selected macroeconomic indicators and refers to the specific impacts of globalisation in world´s largest economies.The conclusion is dealt with the impact of globalisation on the world economy in the field of trade in goods.
Business in the Baltic Sea Region

The thesis focuses on the business in the Baltic Sea Region with pointing out Finland. The aim of the thesis is to describe the geographical definition of the Baltic Sea Region and the cooperation in it. The part about Finland analyses the country using the PEST analysis, and then focuses on the international trade of Finland by goods, services and also foreign direct investment. The next topic is the importance of the Baltic Sea Region as for trade, not only for Finland, but also for other countries from this region. The last part presents a company operating in the Baltic Sea Region, and analyses the importance of region for business and then mentions also opportunities and risks of doing business in stated sector.
Business cooperation between the Czech Republic and Germany with example of a particular company

This thesis focuses on the analysis of economic cooperation between the Czech Republic and the Federal Republic of Germany. The first part is focused on an analysis of the position of Germany in the global economy and international trade. Its position and economic development are compared with the Czech Republic. In the next section is evaluated trade and investment cooperation between the two countries. In the practical part is introduced a German company F. X. Meiller, which has a manufacturing facility in the Czech republic since 1993. For the Czech subsidiary were conducted PESTLE analysis and financial analysis. As a follow-up to the analysis of the financial situation of the company have been proposed new approaches, which might help to solve the problems that the company faces.
Position of United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in international trade

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the position of United Kingdom in international trade and global economy. First chapter deals with current economic situation of the United Kingdom and examines what effect had the financial crisis from 2008 on British economy. Second chapter describes trade in goods and services and is also dedicated to investment flows. Third chapter assesses the position of United Kindom within the European Union, including the issue of single currency and fiscal compact.
Position of Germany in International Trade

The aim of this thesis is to assess the position of Germany in international trade, in relation with country's current economic situation and economic development after 1990. Another objective of the thesis is to analyze integration of Germany in the European Union. In this context, the thesis assesses the importance of Germany for its trading partners within the European Union. Last part of the thesis analyze the importance of economic relations between Germany and the Czech Republic.
Position of the tertiary sector in the Spanish economy since the 90th years to the present

This bachelor thesis focuses on development of tertiary sector (services sector) in Spanish economy and its impact on the employment, GDP and the balance of payments of the country. Theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the definition of tertiary sector and explanation of the causes of its growth. The second part describes the general development of the Spanish tertiary sector from 60th until 2009. The remaining three parts deal with the detailed development of the three major sectors of services sector -- tourism, trade in goods and transport -- from the 90th of the 20th century to the present (2009).
Economic relations of the Czech republic with African countries

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is the evaluation of trade relations between the Czech republic and African countries. Trends in the trade of goods compare the period before the accession of the Czech republic into the European Union with the period afterwards. One separate chapter is dedicated to the most significant partners of the Czech republic in northern and sub-Saharan Africa. The last chapter approaches the Czech development aid as one of the forms of mutual cooperation.
New regionalism in external Canadian relatioships

The aim of my thesis is to analyze development as well as current level of Canadian foreign trade in goods and to compare this level with the number of trade agreements concluded between Canada and other countries. The second issue I considered in my thesis is whether Canada decreases its dependancy on the USA and if so, what are the countries Canada tends to trade with.
